Building Season is Here: Talk to Customers About the Heil® Limited Warranty for Multi-Family Applications

With the multi-family market growing dramatically and the summer building season upon us, it's a great time to remind developers about the comprehensive line of Heil multi-family products available and the updated limited warranty period for multi-family residential applications.

 

According to the National Association of Home Builders,
"A surge in multifamily production resulted in overall nationwide housing starts rising 11.3 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.23 million units [in December 2016]."

 



Warranty Specifics: 
Building owners must register online at www.icpusa.com within 90 days of equipment installation to receive the ten (10) year limited warranty period, which is only available to the original purchaser of the equipment.


Timely Registration: 
What happens if products are not registered within 90 days of installation? Equipment not registered within 90 days of installation will still carry the 5-year parts limited warranty to the original owner. Subsequent owners will receive a 5-year parts limited warranty from the date of the original installation whether or not the product was registered within the 90-day period.

Online Warranty Registration: 
How can building owners complete the online warranty registration process? It’s easy.

  • Go to www.icpusa.com within 90 days of equipment installation.
  • Click on “Product Registration” at the bottom of the home page.
  • When registering, building owners should select “Residential Multi-Family” for the “Application” type.
  • Then, the building owner can enter the property address once and register all of the ICP equipment models / serial numbers installed at that property.

Registering Multiple Systems Online: 
More than one system to register? Not a problem. To register multiple systems to one address:

  • Enter the building owner information, installing contractor information and all other required information (Marked with an * next to the field).
  • Next, add all equipment to the registration by typing the model and serial numbers in the “Purchased Items Information” section. Then, click the “Add” button.
  • Successfully entered model and serial numbers will be displayed on the screen once added.
  • Once you’ve added all the model and serial numbers to the registration, click the “Submit My Registration” button to complete the registration.
