Adding New Customers

TV Advertising—Guidelines

Your television commercials are produced with a 10-second blank area to insert your own tag. Your local television station can help you produce it. Choose from a selection of pre-approved tags with special offers, or use your own information. Each one of the commercials in this section can be customized with a tailored message to air in your local market.

The blending of sound, movement and emotion makes television a medium with enormous impact. Put your name on the air and watch what it does for your business.

These materials are pre-approved for co-op reimbursement. Any changes in pre-produced materials should be approved by your Dealer prior to broadcast to ensure co-op claim qualification.

The ads are available to you in three ways.

  1. Ad Scripts: Print scripts from this Web site or Download them to your computer.
  2. Recorded Spots: Click and play the spots as they will be seen by your customers. To do this, you will need QuickTime software. For more information, see the QuickTime section of this introduction.
  3. Tapes: Order TV quality tapes with the order form available in this section.

Order Forms

The Radio/TV order form in this section allows you to order TV tapes that can be customized by your local TV station. To submit an order form, print the form from this Web site (go to the File menu and select Print). Complete the form, then fax or mail it to your Dealer.

When you order TV commercials, you will get one tape with all the available spots. Television tapes are available only to Dealers through the International Comfort Products Literature Coordinator. For convenience, a Dealer may specify dealers or TV stations as "SHIP TO" locations.

Any changes to Ad Planner television commercials must have prior approval from your Dealer, who also has information on co-op reimbursement.

Format

The commercials are available in two formats: Beta SP tapes (Part # 401-12-2166-00) or DVD (Part # 401-12-2164-00)€”only to Dealers€”through the International Comfort Products Literature Coordinator. For convenience, a Dealer may specify dealers or radio or TV stations as €śSHIP TO€ť locations.

Check with your station representative to find out which format is preferred before asking your Dealer to order for you. Storyboards of the ads are included in this section for viewing or printing.
